Oceans of Love

From November 3:

Dear sweetheart,

Happy November. How is your heart? How is your body? I hope you are finding moments of joy, surrender, and expression when so many things around us are fighting to keep us locked in fear and sadness.

Today I am grateful for all of you who come to my table and share your stories and sweetness with me, who come to me in your own version of surrender and give your bodies and hearts the opportunity to unwind, rest, and recover.

I am also grateful to those of you who reached out regarding my last message about Water Release Therapy. Your support and encouragement and curiousity are a gift. Just over a week ago I held my first sessions at the Sholom Center, and goodness, what a beautiful experience it was. Water has a way of revealing so much. It is a sacred mirror. In those three sessions I witnessed the child, the mother, the healer, the explorer, the grieving one, the visionary. "I felt like we were dancing," one shared after. "You had me floating in outer space," said another. I listen to the water and your breath and I let that guide me. Every session is a blessing and a prayer. This work opens us up to a quiet in our bodies and minds that has not been felt before, allowing a deep listening and awareness of the subtle workings of each. The noise and chaos of the world feels inescapable at times. The water gifts us endless opportunities to tune into our inner world and find that divine sweetness through trust and surrender. It is always there for us. I am, as always, eternally grateful to be held by the water, and to now work with her in a new way.

If you feel invited to explore this, come. My sessions for this water work in November and December have been filled already, but if there is interest I will add another date in December. Please let me know directly as I am not adding these dates to my online schedule just yet.

If you feel called to share this with your circles, please do so. I do have many openings for table work this month and next, and I will be announcing a referral bonus for y'all soon. This quieting of the mind and body, the sense of surrender, is possible in the water, on the table, in your kitchen, in any moment. However you find it, I pray you find opportunities to reset and offer love to yourself. It creates a ripple effect to those around us. It is how we have always moved forward through this world and must continue to do.

Oceans of love,
Rachel

Introducing Water Release Therapy

From October 16:

Hello lovelies,

As most of y’all know, and as I touched on in my last email, I have been traveling to California for the last year and a half to complete my training in Water Release Therapy®. I received my practitioner certificate in June and since then have been on the hunt for a therapy pool where I can offer this work. Great news: I found one! Starting October 25 I will begin offering sessions at the David Feinberg Vitality & Aquatic Center at Sholom Living in St. Paul.

Water Release Therapy® is a beautifully crafted aquatic art developed by my mentor, Diane Feingold. It blends elements from Watsu®, WaterDance, deep presence, breathwork, and yoga. In each session, you will be gently guided through stretches while being lovingly massaged and supported by both myself and the water. Immersed in this warm environment, your nervous system can find harmony, allowing your body and cells to connect with the water. This unique therapy fosters healing integration both above and below the surface, as you may be gradually submerged to explore the liberating potential of this nurturing element.

There is so much beauty to uncover with this transformative work. Through my own experiences with WRT, I've discovered a profound connection to my heart and mind, feeling one with the water in a soothing embrace that evokes a deep sense of calm and nurturance. I am honored to share this journey with you and cannot wait to help you explore new possibilities through the remarkable healing power of water.

Saturday, October 25 is the first day that I will be offering this work. I have 60 minute sessions available that day at 2:00 and 3:20. Each session is $150. Please reach out if you would like to claim one of those spots for yourself.

Thank you for supporting me and this work and each other. I love you all and am grateful to be here with you.

A Return to the Water

"A lesson from the water -
Remember, forgive, and create life with love."

From July 10, 2025

Good day to you, sweethearts.

First off, I'd like to express how grateful I am for you. Times they do be continuing to be surreal and horrifying, and I know so many of us are working hard to stay out of the fear of the unknown. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your support in my life and my work, and that you continue to choose me as a part of your love and care team. Giving ourselves time to rest and reset our nervous systems is a bold act of courage and a way to gather strength for our collective future.

Over the last year I have been traveling to California to receive training from my teacher and mermaid mother Diane Feingold, in Water Release Therapy® , a modality of aquatic bodywork that is designed to release trauma, old patterns, and holding that is stored in the body and mind. To me it most closely relates to restorative yoga but done assisted and in warm water. I am still finding the words to describe the lifelong journey that led me to this work, and the process of its teachings over the last year, but it truly is such profound and magical work and it is an honor to weave it into my offerings to you. When that will happen has yet to unfold but it is in the works and I am so excited to share more soon.

I've realized too in sharing about this work that a lot of y'all are unaware of my background in aquatics. I swam competitively throughout my childhood and into college as a masters swimmer. I started teaching when I was 11, coached teams, coordinated lesson programs, and owned and operated a swim school with my family back in Georgia. Most of my life has revolved around water. Water is one of the things that drew me to Minnesota in the first place - the idea of being surrounded by it moved me to my core. It is where I find my center.

Being in and around water calms and connects us - it heals us. What we feel, love, and experience ripples all around us. Water reminds us that we are all connected. Water Healer Rocio Navarro tells us that "water holds memory. Water teaches us that we are never truly separate. That our regulation, our grief, our care, all ripple into the larger collective field." In a time rife with grief and sorrow, I believe a return to water is something we all need.

In addition to expanding the beauty of WRT® into the Twin Cities, I am going back to my roots and will be offering swim lessons this summer. If you are interested in finding new comfort in the water, fine tuning strokes and breathwork, or even starting fresh in the water, please reach out. One of the great joys in my life has been witnessing humans of all ages break through discomforts and fears in the water, and discovering their strength and power amplified by the water. Beginning next week I'll be teaching from a dear friend's private pool in Arden Hills and I would love to greet you there.

What are you checking off this list this summer? I'm finding joy in the garden, in my home with Peach, my sweetheart Ross and his dog Louise, and we just returned from a week down south where we were loaded up with so much laughter, love, and bacon with our families that I'm still filled up days and days later.

Thank you for sharing your life and love with me. I sure do love you.
